Illness often spoils the holiday mood. This is actually a very common experience people have while traveling. Different climates and long travel times often make people sick. Of course, this is something you want to avoid at all costs. This can turn into a really bad experience when it should be a good one. So, if you want to do everything you can to avoid getting sick while on vacation. Here are a few things to consider.

Bring  Allergy Medicine 

It is important to bring your medicine if you suffer from allergies or other medical conditions. It’s definitely worth packing, even if it’s just for a short time. You never know when an allergy reaction will occur.

You may even miss an extended vacation because of illness. Even though you should be enjoying yourself. For example, if you have a high fever. You should be sure to bring Nason’s ex Nasal Spray. Be careful what you eat

Avoid  activities that require concentration 

Reading, using the phone, and many other activities require concentration and constant eye contact. which increases the likelihood of feeling sick.

Drink Enough 

Drink lots of water. Your goal should be to cut your weight (in pounds) in half and drink that amount of water every day. For example, if you weigh 120 pounds. Your goal should be to drink 60 ounces of water. 

When travelling abroad, make sure tap water is safe to drink. If not, or if you’re not sure, stick to bottled water.
